Picture a burglar kicking down the door to your house and plundering your home in broad daylight in spite of your righteous resistance, and then returning to do so everyday until your home has been stripped bare of anything that made your home feel like a home.

You are left with no choice but to leave the empty shell that was your former home and forced to seek refuge elsewhere, with no guarantee that you will survive in the process of doing so.

Now, imagine this happening to animals dwelling in their natural habitats on a global scale and that you, representing the human race, are the burglar.
Indeed, when human loggers excessively cut down trees for timber, they are basically being forest burglars.

Also another side effect.

It is estimated that by 2100, overall deforestation in Southeast Asia will be 74%, and that this will be associated with a 21% loss of biodiversity.

Loggers have to drastically cut down on their logging activities so as to give the world’s forests sufficient time to replenish their supply of trees and prevent biodiversity loss.
